American Acadmey For Cerebral Palsy And Developmental Medicine
DescriptionThe Academy’s grant program supports the Organization’s mission to improve the health and general status of children and adults with cerebral palsy, genetic and developmental disorders, or childhood acquired-disabilities. It does this by providing financial assistance for the development and presentation of a high quality education seminar related to improving the early identification and treatment of individuals with childhood acquired disability. The Academy’s Development Grant Program will award one $5,000 grant to a group that is highly motivated, well organized, and has a strong vested interest in improving clinical practice through the dissemination of knowledge. Applicants must be an Academy member; be located outside the United States or Canada, preferably in a country with no like organization; be involved in research or the care of individuals with cerebral palsy, developmental disorders, or other childhood acquired disability; and have potential other funding to supplement the project if needed.
