American Acadmey For Cerebral Palsy And Developmental Medicine
Category: Health
DescriptionThe Academy’s grant program supports the Organization’s mission to improve the health and general status of children and adults with cerebral palsy, genetic and developmental disorders, or childhood acquired-disabilities. It does this by providing financial assistance for the development and presentation of a high quality education seminar related to improving the early identification and treatment of individuals with childhood acquired disability. The Academy’s Development Grant Program will award one $5,000 grant to a group that is highly motivated, well organized, and has a strong vested interest in improving clinical practice through the dissemination of knowledge. Applicants must be an Academy member; be located outside the United States or Canada, preferably in a country with no like organization; be involved in research or the care of individuals with cerebral palsy, developmental disorders, or other childhood acquired disability; and have potential other funding to supplement the project if needed. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
