American Honda Foundation

Description

commemorate the Company’s 25th anniversary in the United States. The Foundation’s mission is to help meet the needs of American society in the areas of youth and scientific education while strategically assisting communities in deriving long-term benefits from those efforts. Grantmaking is focused on projects and programs that reflect the basic tenets, beliefs, and philosophies of Honda Companies, which are characterized by the following qualities: imaginative, creative, youthful, forward-thinking, scientific, humanistic, and innovative. The Foundation will award grants to youth education projects with a specific focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics subjects as well as the environment. Eligible applicants must be a nonprofit charitable organization or a public school district, private/public elementary, or secondary school. Additional details can be found on the Web site.
