Mazda Foundation

Description

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the automobile Company’s North America headquarters. It supports nonprofits in the areas of education, literacy, social welfare, scientific research, cross-cultural understanding, and environmental conservation. The Foundation only accepts applications from May 1 through July 1 each fiscal year. Much of the grantmaking is earmarked for organizations located in markets where the Company has offices – Irvine, Calif.; Bridgewater, NJ; Chicago, Ill.; Sugarland, Texas; and Jacksonville, Fla. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals, political or religious organizations, for fundraising dinners or events; capital building, endowment, or debt reduction drives; organizations without 501©3 designation, or requests from organizations in foreign countries.
