The Committee is the world’s leading Jewish humanitarian assistance organization. The Committee’s Archives documents the organization’s activities from its inception in 1914 to the present. The Archives houses one of the most significant collections in the world for the study of modern Jewish history. The Archives has announced its 2018 grant for post-production and/or distribution costs of a documentary film, which draws on the Committee’s archival collections. A single grant of $10,000 will be awarded to support the costs of a documentary film focused on 20th Century Jewish history, humanitarian assistance, or a related topic. Topics can include issues, events, and personalities related to overseas Jewish communities during the last century. Applicants must have a proven track record as a filmmaker. Films utilizing the Archives will be given higher consideration. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
