DescriptionThe Foundation was formed by the former worldwide head of production for Pepsi-Cola and his wife. The Foundation is committed to funding charitable organizations that support the New York City neighborhoods of Astoria and Long Island City through programs in education, youth development, support for the elderly and medical research. Grant applicants must demonstrated clear, measurable outcomes and ensure their program focuses on improving self-sufficiency or quality of life. The Foundation believes that all people are entitled to pursue their dreams and have the right and obligation to be productive and contributing members of society. The Foundation’s policy is not to accept unsolicited grant proposals. Instead, the Foundation suggests that new applicants send a letter of inquiry to assess board interest in their project.
