Description

The Foundation’s Responsive Grants Program supports projects that have a significant focus on older adults, ages 65 and over, in the following areas: advocacy, direct service, professional education and training, and research. Advocacy grants fund projects that seek to achieve enduring social change around issues that affect older Americans. Direct service grants improve availability and quality of community-based and residential long-term services and supports. Professional education and training grants seek to increase the competency of professionals and paraprofessionals who serve older adults. Research grants support projects that seek causes and solutions to significant problems for older adults. Through the Responsive Grants, the Foundation awards Direct Service grants to nonprofits located in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Missouri, or Wisconsin. Advocacy, training, and research project grants, all with national relevance are considered from organizations located anywhere in the United States.
