: Violence/Law/Criminal Justice

Description

The Project cultivates and supports efforts that extend beyond crisis management to attack the root causes of the domestic violence epidemic. The Project’s Celebrating Solutions Awards aim to showcase and applaud local innovations that demonstrate promise in breaking the cycle of violence. The Project selects four programs that can serve as models for the nation. Nominations are judged by a panel of experts in criminal justice, health care, and public policy, and other disciplines that address domestic violence. Programs must have been operating for a minimum of three years. The Project also offers an additional Roth Award of $10,000 that recognizes one program that specifically addresses the needs of underserved populations. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
