Description

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the financial management Corporation. The Foundation’s Community Innovation Project aims to help nonprofits in the North Texas region create game-changing solutions to pressing social problems. The Initiative seeks to identify and support sustainable solutions that demonstrate new approaches to persistent community problems in any of the Foundation’s core focus areas of: veterans’ issues, family empowerment, children at risk, education, health, or basic needs. Priority will be given to projects that leverage collaboration to increase impact; meet a demonstrated, unmet need or at a minimum, significantly expand an existing service or program; encourage the Company’s employees to volunteer as part of the project; and/or demonstrate a plan for long-term sustainability. Funded programs must be community based and serve the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Additional information including an online grants management system can be found on the Web site.
