The Seaworld And Busch Gardens Conservation Fund

Description

The Fund supports wildlife research, habitat protection, animal rescue, and conservation education in the United States and more than 60 countries around the world. The Fund’s annual grant program has four major areas of focus: species research, habitat protection, conservation education, and animal rescue and rehabilitation. Each year, the Fund has specific conservation priorities it supports and applicants’ programs must align with the priorities in order to be considered for a grant. While the Fund recognizes and supports the critical importance of ex-situ efforts such as endangered species breeding programs and conservation awareness/education, its primary focus is to support conservation efforts directly benefiting wildlife in their native ranges (in situ). The Fund accepts online applications from nonprofit organizations based in the U.S., non-U.S. based nonprofits and non-governmental organizations, governmental entities, accredited universities and research centers, and AZA- or AMMPA-accredited institutions. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
