Bread And Roses Community Fund

Description

The Fund is a partnership of donors and activities committed to supporting social change in Delaware Valley, Penn. The Fund’s Racial and Economic Justice Fund was created to support groups using community organizing to promote racial and economic justice at the local, state, national, and international levels. Applicants must ensure that working toward racial and economic justice be central to their vision, have an understanding of the problem, and a strategy for addressing it. Applicant organizations must be located in the Delaware Valley, which includes five Pennsylvania counties of Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery and Camden County, New Jersey. Organizations with operating budgets of less than $150,000 are eligible to apply. Those with budgets over $150,000 may apply if they have a “discrete social justice project with a budget of less than $150,000 that needs seed money for a new activity or is unlikely to meet the guidelines of other funding sources because of its goals or strategies.
