Description

The Trust focuses its grantmaking on programs and nonprofits in Texas that provide services to the elderly. Funding is provided for initiatives and programs including health centers, recreation programs, retirement services, Alzheimer’s initiatives, meal delivery programs, and nursing facilities. Support is currently focused on programs and services to benefit those age 60 or older and individuals born with Down Syndrome age 47 and older living in Texas. The Trust also awards grants for primary caregiver education programs focusing on the elderly and nursing scholarships for students specializing in gerontology.
