DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on transitional youth development programs that offer in-depth, long-term investments and opportunities for motivated, low-income youth. Priority is given to programs that have a proven track record of improving outcomes around key youth development and academic benchmarks including third-grade reading, high school graduation, college attainment, and college completion. Organizations that fall within the Foundation’s areas of giving may submit a letter of inquiry at any time during the year. Grants are awarded to organizations based in Oregon and Washington State.
