DescriptionThe Foundation’s Strengthening Organizations grant program, the Foundation supports projects that will help nonprofits and equivalent organizations such as tries, schools, churches, local government agencies, and programs, in the state better meet their missions. Projects should directly enhance the work of the organization, making it stronger with well-organized systems in place and skilled employees who have the training and resources to successfully provide services. Grants will be awarded for capacity building projects that support professional staff and boards of directors in their efforts to access tools, develop practical skills, and cultivate support systems in the areas of leadership development, organizational development, program development, collaboration and community engagement, and evaluation of effectiveness.
