Massage Therapy Foundation

DescriptionThe Foundation’s advances the knowledge and practice of massage therapy through support for scientific research, education, and community service. The Foundation’s Community Service grants program is designed to promote working partnerships between the massage therapy profession and community-based organizations. Grants are awarded to nonprofits that provide massage therapy to people who currently have little or no access to such services. The grants are available for organizations or affiliates of organizations that have been in existence for at least one year in the respective state or province of Canada; are tax exempt in the U.S. or nonprofit charitable organizations in other countries; currently provide some therapeutic or other service programs to the community; and have designated a qualified staff member to oversee the program.
