Description

The Foundation seeks encourage the performance of contemporary concert music, particularly by American composers. It does this through support to performing and presenting organization that have demonstrated sustained artistic excellence. The Foundation accepts applications from non-performing musical organizations for general operating support or special project support. Non-performing musical organizations include education/residency programs, festivals, libraries and archives, presenters, radio/television organizations, and music service organizations. These groups may apply for general operating support or special project support. Applicants must have been in existence for at least two years. In general, the Foundation does not support jazz music.
