Description

The Foundation is committed to providing resources to improve the lives of children in metropolitan Detroit by improving their homes, schools, and neighborhoods. The Foundation awards grants in six investment areas: education, safety, social innovation, neighborhoods, community leadership, and youth development. A significant portion of the Foundation’s grant dollars are spent in six Detroit neighborhoods: Brightmoor, Cody Rouge, Chadsey Condon, Southwest Detroit, Osborn, and Northend Central Woodward. New grant inquiries should be submitted approximately two months in advance of Trustee meeting dates. The Trustees meet in March, June, September, and December.
