DescriptionThe Foundation’s Music Research and Preservation Projects grants provides supports for music archiving and preservation efforts and for scientific research projects related to the impact of music on the human condition. The Scientific and Research Projects grant program awards grants for projects related to researching the impact of music on the human condition. Archiving and Preservation Projects grant program supports organizations and individuals in support of efforts that advance the archiving and preservation of the music and recorded sound heritage of the Americas. The Archiving and Preservation category has two funding areas: preservation implementation (grants of up to $20,000) and planning, assessment, and/or consultation (grants of up to $5,000). The deadline is for letters of inquiry. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
