Csx Community Investment Program

DescriptionThe Corporate Giving Program is the philanthropic component of the railroad Company. The Program supports nonprofits that serve the communities where the Company is located, primarily in the Eastern, Southern, and Upper Midwest areas of the United States. Grantmaking is focused on the following areas: Safety, Environment, Wellness, and Community. Safety grants address railway, public, and personal safety. Environment grants focus on land, water and air preservation and restoration. Wellness grants support healthy lifestyles and wellness education. Community grants focus on community leadership and service. Priority is given to organizations that have a broad base of funding and involved employees of the railroad. Online applications may be submitted from Jan. 1 to Dec. 15 each year. Additional information including an eligibility quiz can be found on the Web site.
