Description

Founded by the widow of Errett Grable, a Pittsburgh business leader who founded Rubbermaid, the Foundation seeks to help children and youth in southwestern Pennsylvania become independent, caring, contributing members of society. The Foundation supports programs critical to a child’s successful development. Grants are focused on early childhood programs, school systems, out-of-school time, and community vitality as it relates to innovative learning places and play spaces, creative and informative multimedia projects, and community celebrations throughout the Pittsburgh region. The Foundation accepts letters of inquiry through its online inquiry sheet. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
