Description

The Foundation promotes the quality of life for Americans and their environment. It focuses its grantmaking on three areas: environment, health care, and education and makes the majority of its grants to organizations located in Delaware who serve underprivileged children in Delaware. The deadline is for letters of inquiry. Additional information including two other foundations – the Clark Fund, founded by Mary Chichester DuPont Clark and the Lydia Fund, formed on the death of Lydia C. DuPont – can be found on the Web site. The Clark Fund accepts applications from anywhere in the United States for programs concerned with the environment, education, health care, and social services. The Lydia Fund focuses on the needs, medical care, treatment, and education of underprivileged children throughout the State of Delaware.
