Description

The Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the financial services Company. It was formed in 2014 to demonstrate the Company’s deep commitment to the communities it serves in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington. The Foundation’s Community Giving Program awards grants in the following areas: youth development and education and economic opportunity. Youth development and education grants support early childhood and K-12 programs that fulfill the educational experience and well-being of youth to help them reach their full potential. For example, grants are made in the areas of early childhood learning, childhood hunger, literacy and math achievement benchmarks, parent engagement and support, positive youth development, and arts access. Economic opportunity grants focus on organizations that promote stability in the neighborhoods. Grants are awarded to organizations that help low-to-moderate income individuals and families. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
