DescriptionThe Foundation’s Catalyst Fund provides one-time, non-renewable grants up to $5,000 for a 12-month period to help community-based health care organizations strengthen their capacity to expand access to health care in Massachusetts. Eligible organizations include health centers, clinics, healthcare advocacy groups, and community-based organizations. Organizations must serve the healthcare needs of uninsured and low-income residents of the state. Examples of activities that could be supported include hiring a grant writer, technology enhancements (automated external defibrillators are not eligible), community meetings for stakeholders and constituents, leadership development opportunities for staff or board members, and producing marketing and/or outreach materials.
