Unbound Philanthropy
Category: International
DescriptionThe Philanthropy works to ensure that migrants and refuges are treated with respect and engage with their new communities. It supports pragmatic, innovative, and responsive approaches to immigration and immigrant integration in the United States and the United Kingdom. The Philanthropy approaches its grantmaking with the idea of supporting change for the long haul. Grants are awarded in both the United States and the United Kingdom in the following areas: legal rights and protections, immigrant integration, and building public understanding. The Philanthropy is committed to exploring the intersection of its grantmaking with other issues such as linking refugee and migrant issues with issues of gender, racial, and lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender/queer equality. To maximize its impact, the Philanthropy partners with other funders in both the US and UK. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
