DescriptionThe Fundacion, based in the Canary Islands of Spain, primarily supports projects that address issues with parrots and cetaceans (whales). The Fundacion supports projects that improve the conservation prospects of threatened parrots – “ambassador species” – and to promote biodiversity conservation in general. It also supports projects for cetaceans as “ambassador” species to promote conservation of the marine environment. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
