DescriptionThe Foundation is a private financial firm that offers banking, estate planning, wealth management, and philanthropic consulting and trust services. The Foundation is committed to building the strength and integrity of the nonprofits in the communities the firm serves: Orange County, Los Angeles, Pasadena, Coachella Valley, Imperial Valley, San Diego County, Las Vegas, and Hawaii. The Foundation’s Supporting Our Communities Initiative provides approximately 14 charities per year with cash grants combined with the firm’s in-kind consulting services for strengthening their organizational and fundraising capacity. For its May deadline, the Foundation is seeking applications from Hawaii-based nonprofits for the Initiative. The Initiative will provide cash grants of $5,000 plus up to 20 hours of consulting services for over two years to select nonprofits in Hawaii. The grants must support capacity-building initiatives. Consulting services include support related to donor stewardship, board retreats, development planning, board building, design and development of critical policies and protocols, cash management, investment policies and best practices, gift planning, and fiduciary audits.
