Description

The Foundation supports nonprofits that enhance rural communities throughout the state of Oregon and in Siskiyou County, Calif. Rural is defined as communities with populations of 30,000 or less and not adjacent to or part of an urban area. The Foundation offers two types of grants: Responsive, which are community driven, and Proactive, which are Foundation driven. The Foundation also offers Technical Assistance grants. The Foundation’s Responsive Grant Program focuses on four categories: Positive Youth Development, Access to Health and Dental Services for Children, Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention, and Public Convening Spaces. The Foundation only accepts funding requests through its online application process. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
