The Saxena Family Foundation
The Foundation, founded in 2002, seeks to advance inventive and effective ways of promoting STEM (science, engineering, technology, and mathematics) education in the United States and empowering young women so that they have equal rights later in life. Women’s empowerment grants include economic empowerment, educational empowerment, and political empowerment through literacy programs, job and life-skills training. Since its inception, the Foundation has provided support to a wide variety of North America- and India-based charitable organizations. While the Foundation provide some unrestricted funding, preference is given to funding specific projects. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
