The Bill Healy Foundation

Description

The Foundation, founded by Cameron Healy in memory of his father who envisioned and created a ski resort on Mt. Bachelor in Oregon, is committed to responsible grant making through thoughtful choices. Recognizing the fragile interdependence between the environment and humans, the Foundation has chosen two grantmaking areas: Environmental Conservation and the Well Being of Children. Under the Environmental Conservation area, the Foundation supports environmental stewardship, education, and sustainable solutions focused on preservation, appreciation, and respect for the world around. Under the Well Being of Children, the Foundation believes it has a responsibility and an opportunity to offer support, understanding, and guidance that gives them educated, informed, and compassionate choices for a better quality and appreciation of life. Grants are awarded to nonprofits in Oregon and Hawaii. The deadline is for requests from the state of Oregon. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
