Description

The Foundation, created to honor the founder of the J.L. Hudson Company in Detroit, seeks to improve the vitality and quality of life in Detroit. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: physical revitalization of Detroit, economic development, the arts and safe community. In addition, the Foundation supports 15x15, a shared vision to attract 15,000 young, talented households to Greater Downtown Detroit by 2015. The Foundation requires that the initial contact be through a letter of inquiry. Details about the Foundation, its history, its focus and its mission can be found on the Web site.
