Hillcrest Foundation

financial support to qualified Texas charitable organizations for the advancement of education, the promotion of health, and the relief of poverty. Several generations of the Caruth family owned and managed farms and ranches, which later developed into real estate properties as Dallas grew. Most grants are made to charitable organizations located in Dallas County and the surrounding area. Priority is given to the following types of requests: construction/improvements of permanent buildings, programs and special projects for education, health, and poverty relief; capital campaigns; and buildings, facilities, and equipment. Grants to meet challenges or matching funds have special appeal to the Foundation. The Foundation is administered by Bank of America. Some additional information can be found on the Web site.
