DescriptionBased in Atlanta, the Foundation began as friends and family of the Coca-Cola Company who wanted to support Southeast Georgia organizations making a difference in women’s lives. Membership is now 50 women who together are committed to improving the lives o women and girls through an annual $100,000 grant. The Foundation provides financial support through this grant to nonprofits that empower women and girls in the areas of education, health, economic independence, social well-being, or human rights. The grant must be used for special projects or capital improvement that can be sustained by the organization beyond the grant period. The Foundation’s objective is to invest $1 million over the course of 10 years in 10 different organizations.
