Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust

Description

The Trust is accepting applications for its Piper Fellows program, which provides sabbaticals for nonprofit executives in Maricopa County, Arizona. The Fellows Program awards grants of up to $30,000 to outstanding senior executives of nonprofits serving Maricopa County to support their professional development, including study and travel. A Fellow must take a minimum of one month to a maximum of two months’ work release time from their organization. Fellow candidates are encouraged to explore educational and professional programs and visit model program sites and leaders in other communities. Candidates must be employed by a nonprofit organization that serves Maricopa County. Organizations must have been in operation for at least 10 years prior to the time of the grant request and must be dedicated to efforts in the areas of human services, health, education, arts and culture, or religion.
