Toyota U.s.a. Foundation
Category: Education
DescriptionThe Foundation is committed to enhancing the quality of K-12 education by supporting innovative programs and building partnerships with organizations dedicated to improving the teaching and learning of mathematics, science, and environmental science. A high priority is placed on systemic math and science programs, which are broad in scope and incorporate interdisciplinary curriculum, “real world” classroom applications, and high student expectations. Priority is also given to creative and innovative programs, which develop the potential of students and/or teachers, and cost-effective programs that possess a high potential for success with relatively low duplication of effort. Applying organizations must be tax-exempt, located within, and serve people in the United States. K-12 public and private schools may not directly apply to the Foundation, but may be the recipient of an independent nonprofit agency’s funding request. Additional details as well as an online application form are available on the Web site.
