Description

The Foundation’s Lizette Peterson-Homer Injury Prevention award supports research into psychological and behavioral aspects of the prevention of injuries in children and adolescents. Peterson-Homer was committed to improving the status of children in the face of the most significant threats to their health and development, specifically accidents, violence, abuse, or suicide. The grant is open to students and faculty to support research related to the prevention of injuries in children and adolescents. Applicants must be students and/or faculty at an accredited university and demonstrate research competence and commitment to this area of interest.
