Description

The Foundation’s mission is to achieve positive social change by shining the light of truth on critical and controversial issue. It pursues its mission through the support of scholarly studies, education, research, and public debate, and by the dissemination of the results via a variety of media to all segments of the public. The Foundation invites accredited California community colleges to submit letters of inquiry for its Dorothy D. Rupe Nursing Program. The Program’s mission is to sustain and strengthen certified nursing assistant and home health aide training programs at California community colleges. Grants are awarded to programs providing quality entry-level healthcare training for students. Grants may be used for instructional support, student scholarship and emergency assistance, equipment and supplies, and curriculum development. All California community colleges with an existing certified nursing assistant program are eligible to apply. Letters of inquiry are accepted at any time.
