DescriptionThe Association’s David E. Rogers Award honors a former president of the Association. The Award recognizes a medical school faculty member who has made major contributions to improving the health and health care of the American people. Nominations may be made by any faculty or staff member of a medical school or teaching hospital or by any member of an academic society. The Award is limited to an individual who has spent the majority of her/his career in academic medicine in the United States.
