Description

The Association’s Arthur Flagler Fultz Award is designed to encourage, promote, and fund music therapy research and the exploration of new and innovative music therapy treatments. The Fund supports research in the field of music therapy with a focus on clinical research and health services research. Clinical research grants support projects that are designed to assess the efficacy of music therapy interventions and help define best practice in the field. Health services research grants support projects designed to assess the role of music therapy practice in the context of emerging healthcare delivery models. To be eligible, the project’s primary investigator must be a member of the Association in good standing. One grant of $15,000 will be awarded for projects in either of the categories. Applications and additional information can be found on the Association’s Web site.
