Description

The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on three primary areas: healthy, the vitality of Indianapolis, and sustainable employment. Health grants support public and preventive health with an emphasis on the safety net system as well as health as an economic drive, with an emphasis on the life sciences sector. Vitality of Indianapolis grants is the Foundation’s second largest focus area. The Foundation defines grants within this focus area as significant economic growth drivers positively impacting the Indianapolis community. It does not include “quality of life” or “arts and culture” organizations or initiatives. Sustainable employment grants is the Foundation’s smallest focus areas. Grants within this area are highly targeted and all have the goal of assisting unemployed or underemployed adults in Indianapolis in their efforts to achieve economic self-sufficiency. The Foundation welcomes inquiries at any time from organizations located in Greater Indianapolis, Ind., with an emphasis on Marion County. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
