DescriptionThe Organization advocates for balance between economic development and environmental quality in the state. It’s currently accepting applications from Arizona teachers in grades K-12 to support environmental projects in their classroom, school, or community. With support from the Helios Education Foundation, the Organization will award up to $5,000 in Earthfest Education grants for projects that are environmental in nature and focus on energy, water, air quality, transportation, land planning, plants and animals, and/or waste management. Projects must enhance student awareness of and interest in environmental sustainability. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
