DescriptionThe Foundation was created in 1995 with the net proceeds from the sale of JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. The Foundation works in Palm Beach County, Florida, to increase health care access, improve science and health education and enhance the health care workforce. Grantmaking is targeted toward three areas: health care access, science and health education especially at the primary and secondary school levels, and professional development opportunities and career ladders for the health care workforce.
