Description

The Foundation provides support for the conservation of natural resources in North America and the Caribbean Basin with emphasis on the United States. Priority is given to marine resource conservation and management with priority given to fisheries; South Florida ecosystems (Everglades, Biscayne Bay, Florida Bay, and the Florida Keys), and Alabama environmental issues. The Foundation also supports pre-selected organizations in Washington, D.C. on environmental issues and pre-selected population and environmental initiatives. Site specific grants are limited to South Florida and Alabama. A letter of inquiry is required before sending a proposal. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
