DescriptionThe Foundation focuses its grantmaking on programs and projects that honor the ideals of personal responsibility and resourcefulness in a free society, limited government, self-sufficiency, the right of individuals to enjoy a quality life, and the importance of providing opportunities for people to help themselves. Grantmaking has been focused on organizations that promote education, serve to enrich the human spirit, and work to improve the quality of life for others. Preference is given to groups and projects that receive little or no support from the government. The Foundation gives preference to grant requests from eligible organizations in the Houston area or within the State of Texas. The Foundation considers all types of support.
