DescriptionThe Agency’s Art Works grants support the creation of art that meets the highest standards of excellence, public engagement with diverse and excellent art, lifelong learning in the arts, and the strengthening of communities through the arts. Within these areas, innovative projects are strongly encouraged. Art disciplines include artist communities, arts education, dance, design, folk & traditional arts, literature, museums, music, opera, presenting & multidisciplinary works, research, state and regional, local arts agencies, media arts, theater & musical theater, and visual arts.
