Description

The Trust, established in 1939, focuses its grantmaking on the following areas: recreation/camp scholarships, health and welfare, dental health, education/scholarships for colleges and universities. Under Recreation/Camp Scholarships the Trust funds camp scholarships/summer enrichment programs for needy children from rural and urban areas. Health and welfare grants support many types of social service organizations. Dental health capital grants are given to dental health organizations. Education grants/scholarships are awarded to colleges and universities to benefit needy students. The colleges and universities select the recipients based on criteria from the Trust. Organizations located in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont are eligible to apply.
