Description

The Fund focuses its grantmaking on Colorado grassroots organizations that work to create a just, equitable, and free society by transforming oppressive and discriminatory political, social, and economic systems and institutions. Funded organizations should challenge the root causes of oppression rather than treating the symptoms. Applicants must be based in communities facing injustice or oppression, including but not limited to: communities of color, low-income communities, LGBTQ communities, disabilities communities, and immigrant communities. The Fund identifies social change as efforts that strive to include the following elements: constituent led, community wide, and lasting effect. Applicants must have an annual budget of $350,000 or less. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
