Description

The Bank’s After School Grants Project wants to encourage learning to occur after the school bell rings. Preference is given to programs that reinforce basic social skills, improves academic achievement, increases self-esteem through skill development activities, provides a safe environment, encourages and develops links and partnerships between school, home and community. Also of interest are those that are financially accessible, have no participation fee, is designed to assist children and youth anywhere between the ages of 6 and 18 and who are in at-risk or underserved communities. After school programs must operate five days per week. Additional information including an online application can be found on the Web site.
