DescriptionThe Service invites international producers to create programs for United States television audiences. Programs must be from any country other than the United States; represent diverse global communities; advance underrepresented points of view; inspire public dialogue; tell powerful, fascinating stories; and explore globally significant themes and issues. Programs must be in production or post-production and applicants must submit a sample reel of their work-in-progress for consideration. Applicants must be an international producer who doesn’t reside in the U.S.; be an independent producer; and must have previous film or TV production experience in a principal role. U.S. citizens may apply only as co-applicants in a true co-production relationship with an international producer. Applicants are asked to apply online.
