DescriptionThe Foundation’s mission is to increase the number, range, and depth of positive learning experiences available to materially disadvantaged young people living in the cities and towns of Massachusetts. Most grants are awarded to organizations that serve disadvantaged, inner-city youths and most grant recipients will be located in the neighborhoods that they would serve through their efforts. Preference is given to organizations that employ members of the population that they serve on their staff. Also of interest are programs that bring about real changes in the neighborhoods where the target population lives. A grant proposal form can be found on the Web site.
