Louisville Institute
Category: Religion
DescriptionThe Institute offers grants to support both research and inquiry by scholars/pastors and scholars/educators that strengthen the religious life of North American Christians and their institutions while simultaneously advancing American religious and theological scholarship. Grants serve three strategic constituencies whose competence and well-being are essential to the future of the church: pastors, young scholars, and researchers and scholars for the broader church. Pastoral Study Project Program grants offer pastoral leaders the opportunity to conduct serious investigation of issues related to Christian life, faith, and ministry. The grants support intellectual work of pastoral leaders who have the capacities for research, teaching, and writing that can reach broad audiences. Grants also support first-rate inquiry and dissemination about Christian faith and life, religious institutions, and pastoral leadership so that the faith and life of all Christians, the vitality of their institutions, and the work of pastoral leaders may be strengthened. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
