The Animal Assistance Foundation

The Foundation seeks to make Colorado the model state for animals to live with people. The Foundation focuses its grantmaking on the following: companion animal spay/neuter, animal sheltering including sheltering for companion animals and equines, prevention of animal cruelty, and other initiatives demonstrating innovation or high impact. Applicants must be located in the state of Colorado or an agency that has a direct impact on animals and their owners in Colorado. This includes institutions conducting studies that result in new science, practice, or knowledge significantly affecting animals living in Colorado. Letters of inquiry are requested and can be submitted at any time. Additional information can be found on the Web site.
